Attention spans keep getting shorter and shorter.

So why do movies keep getting longer and longer?

Instead of putting out 85 minute bangers that get the job done before you can even remember to look at your phone, Hollywood has decided to accommodate the two-screen experience by having characters explain the plot to the audience every ten minutes. Now we live in a world with three-hour Mission: Impossible movies.

Corporate America loves it because two screens means two advertising opportunities, but Rewind Video rejects the two-screen experience. Movies deserve our full attention, especially the ones we choose for the Staff Recommendation Shelf.
